John Abraham

The Wiveliscombe Artist Collective

Painting mainly in acrylics, my preferred subjects are seascapes and landscapes, loosely based on actual West Country locations or sometimes it can be a random composition. Dramatic skies often feature in my work.

Painting mainly in acrylics, my preferred subjects are seascapes and landscapes, loosely based on actual West Country locations or sometimes it can be a random composition.

Dramatic skies often feature in my work, I enjoy painting the interaction of sky with water and try to capture the atmosphere that this combination produces. My aim is to evoke in a viewer of my work some of the joy that I have for nature’s beauty.

In recent years I have exhibited in several venues in Somerset and Devon including one-man exhibitions in Taunton.
